Education on natural resource conservation is crucial in Haiti, and through it we are witnessing dramatic mindset-shift in cultural practices and an increased appreciation of ecosystems. High school and university students participate in the planting of the grasses, developing an essential awareness of environmental health and relations. This awareness will be long lasting. Each year we’re reaching thousands of people through these educational initiatives.
